Mines 2017 Tunnelling Short Course Registration Open

These CEU-awarding courses are designed for industry professionals including managers, designers, contractors, consultants and suppliers.

Registration is now open for the tunneling short course at Colorado School of Mines – Tunneling Fundamentals, Practice and Innovations directed by Mike Mooney and Gabe Walton.

The short course is designed for industry professionals including owners, planners, designers, contractors, consultants and suppliers involved in the planning and construction of underground, tunneling and mining projects. Space is limited and discounted registration rates are only available for a short time.

In June 2016, the Tunneling short course attracted 150 participants from all sectors of the underground construction industry and from all over the world to discuss, investigate, discover and learn about new innovations in tunneling. From the outstanding lectures and case studies presented by industry experts to the high level of participant satisfaction in our hands-on labs and demonstrations, the course provided tremendous value to all who attended.

Tunneling Fundamentals, Practice and Innovations

September 18-21, 2017

This three-and-a-half-day course weaves discussion of emerging innovations in tunneling methods, materials and technology with instruction on key principles of design and construction in all ground types and across all excavation methods.
