Minova is pleased to announce that Dr Alun Thomas has joined them as their Director of Tunnelling for (EMEA) Europe, Middle East, Africa and the CIS region. With more than 20 years of experience, Dr Thomas brings a wealth of expertise on all types of tunnels from segmental linings to immersed tube tunnels. He has been involved in many major projects worldwide such as Crossrail in London. He is particularly well-known in the field of Sprayed Concrete Lined (SCL) tunnels, having written a book on the subject and he is an active member of ITA WG 12.

Minova is also pleased to announce that Roberto Garziera has joined them as their Technical Sales Manager of Tunnelling and Infrastructures for (EMEA) Europe, Middle East, Africa and the CIS region. With many years of experience in design and commissioning of travellers, formworks and falseworks, Roberto brings experience in tunneling and infrastructures, including viaducts, dams, sea defence and power stations. He has been involved in many major projects worldwide such as Riyadh Metro (Saudi Arabia), Gibe III and GERDP hydroelectric powers stations (Ethiopia) and the New Atlantic Bridge (Panama).

“ I am delighted that Alun and Roberto have chosen to join us. Alun will significantly strengthen Minova’s tunnelling sector activities in Europe – as well as globally,” said Michael Napoletano, Vice President and General Manager for Minova’s EMEA-CIS region.
