In the UK’s 2016 Budget speech today (March 16), Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne has given London’s Crossrail 2 the go-ahead, whilst also green lighting the HS3 project between Manchester and Leeds. He has also committed funds to develop the case for the new £6bn, 29km long tunnel between Manchester and Sheffield. More soon…
