ITA Tunnelling Awards 2017 finalists announced

The finalists for the ITA Tunnelling Awards 2017 have been chosen. The 17-strong expert judging panel, chaired by the ITA President Tarcisio Celestino, has evaluated all submittals and 30 will now participate in the second evaluation stage to determine the winners from the nine categories. The finalists are:

The event will be held on the 15th November, a special one-day event dedicated to the presentation of the finalists’ projects followed by a banquet and the award ceremony.

The awards will take place during the AFTES Congress held from 13th to 16th November.

Launched in 2015 by the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association, the first two ITA Tunnelling Awards’ featured more than 450 attendees and 200 candidacies.
