This prestigious event will take place on October 1st, 2025, and features the Conference & Ceremony Banquet, where global experts and innovators will gather to honour excellence and innovation in tunnelling and underground construction.

This special edition coincides with the Southeastern Europe Tunnelling Conference (SETC-2025), organized by the Serbian Association for Tunnels and Underground Structures (ITA Serbia) and the Organizing Committee of ITA Awards & SETC-2025, taking place from October 1st to 3rd, 2025. Together, these events will spotlight groundbreaking projects and developments shaping the future of underground infrastructure.

The entries can be submitted in eight categories:

  • Major Project of the Year – over €500M
  • Project of the Year – Between €100 & €500M
  • Project of the Year up to €100M
  • Project of the Year – Renovation projects
  • Technical Innovation of the Year
  • Product/Equipment innovation of the year
  • Elevated Thinking Underground: Shaping the Future
  • Young Tunneller of the Year

Nominations for the different  categories must be related to projects for which the major civil engineering work was completed between 1st March 2022 and 1st April 2025.
The Young Tunneller of the Year rewards an individual born after 1st January 1990 and who has brought an outstanding contribution to tunnelling.
