John Holland has opened a new South East Asia Office in Singapore. Regional General Manager, South East Asia, John Anderson, said the opening of the Singapore office was testament to John Holland’s on the ground project experience, along with a promising pipeline of work and excellent potential for growth.
“The move also coincides with the award of the contract to construct the new Siglap Station on the Thomson–East Coast Line in Singapore (Contract T309), as part of a joint venture with Zhen Hua, another CCCC company,” said Mr Anderson.
“The new contract win provides a fantastic opportunity to continue the positive working relationship we have with the Land Transport Authority through our work on T208, which involves construction of Springleaf Station and tunnels on the Thomson Line, and C935 on Downtown Line 3.”
He said members of the T309 joint venture team have already arrived in the office, to commence design approvals for initial traffic diversions, site establishment, construction of project offices and recruitment for a number of key local roles.
