Singapore’s LTA has awarded the contracts for the Architectural and Engineering Consultancy Services for the Proposed Thomson Line (TSL) – Mainline Packages A, B, and C. The winners are:

Package A: Arup Singapore Private Limited and Aedas Pte Ltd for S$21,533,580.00

Package B: TY Lin International Pte Ltd /DP Architects Pte Ltd for S$43,536,808.00

Package C: AECOM Singapore Pte Ltd and SAA Architects Pte Ltd for S$29,315,556.06

The Thomson Line will run for up to 30km completely underground from the heart of Marina Bay northwards through the Central Business District and up through Ang Mo Kio all the way to Woodlands connecting estates such as Sin Ming, Kebun Baru, Thomson and Kim Seng which currently do not have a direct MRT link.

Construction is due for completion in 2018.
