London Underground (LU) has issued an OJEU pre-tendering procurement notice for the delivery of the £400M – £600M Northern Line Extension to Battersea Power Station, which includes the construction of 3.3km of twin-bore 5.2m i.d. running tunnels and two new stations, one at Battersea and the other at Nine Elms.
Companies have until 15 April to complete the pre-qualification process with contract signing slated for the 6th January 2014. A project completion date has been set for the end of 2019.
