Engineers Without Borders USA (EWB-USA), a non-profit humanitarian organization, and MWH Global, a strategic consulting, technical engineering and construction services firm leading the wet infrastructure sector,  have launched a new partnership to improve lives around the world. MWH Global announced a $100,000 donation to EWB-USA, which will support the EWB-USA’s community-driven development programs worldwide through the implementation of engineering projects that address challenges in water supply, sanitation, energy access, sustainable agriculture and more.

“This partnership with MWH Global speaks volumes to the corporation’s purpose and commitment to building a better world,” said EWB-USA Executive Director Cathy Leslie. “The support of MWH Global is further proof that the engineering profession is a mighty force in the global fight against poverty.”

In addition to the financial support, Joseph Adams, president of energy & industry for MWH Global has joined EWB-USA’s Corporate Leadership Council. Involvement with the EWB-USA Corporate Leadership Council indicates a current or intended sustainable partnership with the organization.

“We are very excited to be a part of such a great organization,” said Adams. “MWH operates in 35 countries with nearly 8,000 employees. The engineering students associated with EWB-USA have the desire to work around the globe, and many graduate with real world experiences that are invaluable in the workplace.  We believe our partnership with EWB-USA will provide tremendous synergy for both organizations.”
