Qatar pipe-jack tender

The Public Works Authority of Qatar has invited tenders for the construction of sewage networks in Northern Al Khor.

Called Phase 3, works include the construction of approximately 33Km of VC sewers ranging from 200mm to 400mm diameter in trench, and approximately 10Km of trunk sewers by pipe-jacking to a nominal bore diameter of  400mm and 600mm. Also included is the construction of approximately 1150 GRP lined manholes, 200 of which will be located in shafts used for the micro-tunnel sewer installation.
The tender number is PWA/GTC/079/09-10 with a US$1,650 tender fee.
