Liaoning Censcience Industry Co. Ltd. (LNSS) has adjusted part of its overseas subsidiary company LOVSUNS’ strategic functions and ceased manufacturing operations at its Toronto facilities effective from January 9, 2017. In a statement the company said the decision had been taken to fully leverage its production potential in China, and provide the most cost-effective world-class TBM products to the international market on more favorable delivery terms. The announcement signed by Lovsuns General Manager, Hongyu Xue said, “Any contracts signed prior to this date and all contractual obligations thereunder will be completed and honoured by LOVSUNS. Any new TBM or refurbishment orders after this date will be engineered by LOVSUNS, manufactured and delivered at our Headquarters, LNSS China facilities.

With this adjustment, LOVSUNS will continue to be based in Toronto and further focus on and strengthen its engineering, sales and service functions for its international customers.”

“LOVSUNS assures its customers that:

  • The entire Management, sales, engineering, procurement and field service technical staffs are not affected by this transition and will continue its essential operations within Canada.
  •   Being the sole holder of Intellectual Properties of LOVAT/CTCC, LOVSUNS will continue to provide efficient support for the LOVAT/CAT fleet of TBMs via engineering service, onsite technical service, repairs and on time delivery of spare parts worldwide.
  •   LOVSUNS is ready to discuss with its customers on any flexible and feasible machine and service plans that will best fit their needs.”

LOVSUNS Tunneling Canada Ltd. (LOVSUNS) was established in 2014 as the result of the acquisition of the Assets of Caterpillar Tunneling Canada Corp. (CTCC, formerly known as LOVAT) by its parent company LNSS from China.
