NFM Technologies and MÜHLHÄUSER have signed an exclusive agreement whereby Mühlhäuser will represent NFM Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) with core European customers as well as selected premium partners around the globe.Following several successful collaborations in developing logistical solutions to specific project requirements, such as Lyon – Turin, where MÜHLHÄUSER designed and delivered a belt conveyor system for an 11.2m NFM Single Shield TBM, the two tunnelling specialists agreed to step forward with a long term cooperation agreement, with a view to better serve customers with a complete tunnelling solution.

“Based on MÜHLHÄUSER’s decades of experience with the design and realization of TBM-Backup systems and the profound track record of key members of the new MÜHLHÄUSER management team in both TBM supply as well as selection, job site equipment installation and the operation of tunnel boring machines, we feel very well prepared to serve the tunnelling industry with a full solution, from the TBM to the logistical challenges under ground” commented Markus Rechner, CEO of MÜHLHÄUSER.

“In the recent past, many long standing customers have expressed their strong interest in new options and alternatives for the supply and service of Tunnel Boring Machines. We are therefore convinced that based on a proven partnering approach between contractors, MÜHLHÄUSER and NFM many successful projects will be realized”, added Rainer Oestreicher, CFO of MÜHLHÄUSER.
